The present work describes a search tool which is sensitive to the Spanish morphology. The main goal of this work is to advance integration of linguistic knowledge into information retrieval applications, emphasizing a simple but powerful interface to the linguistic engines previously developed by the GEDLC. A textual search tool for MS-Word which considers of inflectional, derivational and prefixal features of Spanish, among other forming words mechanisms, has been developed furnishing a great searching power. Developed tool can be adapted to any application with COM interface and to more complex environments.
